Where is it?
This conference is at the new venue this year in Melbourne - Quay West Suites - Southbank Melbourne
Check Location Here: https://g.page/QuayWestSuitesMelbourne?share
What’s the best way to get there?
The best way to get to the event venue is by the skybus from the Melbourne Airport to the CBD, then a taxi, Uber or Tram to Quay West Suites.
Where should I stay?
For those not in Melbourne, there are plenty of accommodation options around the area. There are fantastic room deals we have secured with the venue this year, which are great value and very convenient. There will be limited rooms, so get in quick, the room registration form can be completed here:
**Many Tribe members reach out and pair up with other tribe members to share room costs. Some also AirBnB it, which is usually is the most cost-effective option. If you are interested in staying with other Tribe members, put up a post on the Closed Kaizen Tribe FB Group and see who wants to share as well!
What time do we start and finish each day?
Thursday VIP Event: 4pm-6pm. (More details to come on the Kaizen Tribe FB Group).
Friday: Arrive at 8:30 am on Friday to network and have tea or coffee. Doors will open at 8:55 am and we start at 9:00 am Sharp.
We finish at 5:30 pm on the Friday afternoon. Keep Friday night free for the Tribe Dinner!
Saturday: Start at 9:00 am sharp and finish at approx 3:30 pm, giving you all plenty of time to get home to your family or to make travel arrangements with flights at 5:30/6:00 pm so that you can still be home on Saturday evening.
What should I bring?
Workbooks, pens and everything you need will be provided. For the technology nerds who like to have an electronic version of the workbook to complete all of your work on your iPad Pro or similar, please let us know as soon as possible and we will organise for you get an electronic copy sent across to you the day before conference to utilise on apps like Notability. (this also saves a large amount of additional costs in printing and reduces our environmental footprint).
Click Here to let Kaizen Crew know if you want a digital copy. https://www.facebook.com/kaizen.crew.7
For this conference, It may be beneficial to bring your computer/ipads as some strategies we will be implementing would be best to plug and play straight away using these devices.
Is there a dress code? What should I wear?
Clothes. Other than that, whatever you feel comfortable in. There’s only ONE BIG NO-NO: I have a ‘no ties’ rule. As usual, I’ll probably be dressed smart casually in business attire or at least a business shirt and RM Williams boots. Please wear whatever feels right for yourself, but I’m one for always feeling like I’m most switched on mentally for business-based avenues, when I’m suitably dressed in the same mentality that I’m wanting. Ultimately, get your backside there and wear what you feel most comfortable with.
I heard there is something secret happening on Friday night. Is that true?
Yes, we are sworn to secrecy on what is planned on the Friday night, but as a Tribe, we all have dinner together, so keep the Friday evening free. Partners and team members are welcome. Please let us know as soon as possible for catering and booking purposes.
My question wasn’t answered. Can you help me?
Yes, absolutely! Kaizen Crews’ got your back. Hit them up with a private message on Facebook.
